Meet our President

Dr. Rahim Samji is an Interventional Radiologist with Medical Imaging Consultants. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Samji completed his Medical School at the University of Calgary and Residency at the University of Alberta. Dr. Samji’s Interventional Radiology Fellowship was at the University of Toronto. He held various health leadership positions including Chair of the Fees Advisory Committee MIC, Interventional Radiology Lead Edmonton Zone, and Vice President of the Alberta Society of Radiologists.

Meet our CEO

Amanda Davison joined the Alberta Society of Radiologists as Chief Executive Officer in August 2023 after 17 years of leadership roles working within the University of Alberta and Alberta Health Services- Cancer Care Alberta environment.

Throughout her career, Amanda Davison has focused on strategic partnership and big-picture thinking. Skilled at rapidly assessing diverse circumstances and challenges, Amanda finds strategic solutions that ensure organizational goals are achieved effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

Building on training in public relations and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management at Royal Roads University, she can create a roadmap to success, and communicate the plan to inspire colleagues to enact it together. Amanda also is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
